No child deserves to suffer and no parents deserve to feel helpless. Hello, my name is Moveen Williams and I am setting up this GoFundMe for my cousin, Roshani who is diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Roshani Williams is 12 years old. He is an amazingly loving big brother to Nicardian and Ky-mar. Roshani is a student of Wolmer's Trust High School for Boys in Jamaica. He's a very smart, kind and friendly person with a big heart. Roshani is full of life and has an infectious, radiant smile that lights up any room.
Roshani was recently (September of this year) diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma. He's a very promising young man, with big dreams of one day travelling the world and helping others. We hope that you can assist in this incredibly difficult time.
Roshani does not have health coverage which adds more stress to this already overwhelming situation. He's currently undergoing chemotherapy, losing his hair and taking countless, expensive medications. What gives us hope through all that he's going through is his positive attitude and smiles, as he encourages us to believe in the impossible.
We wholeheartedly believe that with your help, he will overcome this horrible disease. He is now in the second cycle of treatment and is responding well to treatment; unfortunately, he has a long way to go.
Roshani will be celebrating his 13th birthday on December 31st. Your monetary gifts would go a long way in ensuring he lives a long-lasting, cancer free life and the best birthday gift of hope, a child could receive.
This GoFundMe campaign would provide vital support for Roshani in the following ways:
- Home care (nurse aide)
- Day to day expenses such as hospital boarding, travelling
- Chemotherapy medications, radiation therapy and PET scans
Please take comfort in the fact that your donations will be used for the sole purpose of helping Roshani beat this horrible disease. With your help he stands a fighting chance.
We sincerely and wholeheartedly thank you for any support you can offer. Please share with friends, family, colleagues and just about anyone who would be willing to assist. Thank you!
