As a lifelong friend of RoseMary Laramee, I am starting this GoFundMe to help her get through a very difficult time. For all of us who know and love RoseMary, we have always admired what a strong, resilient, loving, and caring individual she is. As owner and manager of Down Under Jewelry, she touched her Newport community in so many ways. Her friendships run deep, and her kindness is ever-present.

In January, RoseMary's partner, Tom, was diagnosed with a recurrence of oral cancer that left him incapacitated and in need of full-time care. For the months prior to his passing on July 15th, RoseMary was his primary caregiver. Dealing with medical issues of her own, she became depleted by her intense caregiving responsibilities and the emotional toll of watching her long-time partner suffer. Two weeks prior to Tom's passing, she had to undergo emergency colon surgery. Now facing additional surgeries with a long recovery time, RoseMary could greatly benefit from financial assistance to help get her through this stressful period.
