I’m reaching out to ask for your support as I begin a challenging journey with scoliosis treatment. I do have hope that I beat this with your help.

I’ve recently been diagnosed, and my doctors recommend a non-invasive treatment plan that gives me the best chance at reducing pain, improving mobility, and keeping my independence.

The biggest hurdle? The cost.

While I have Medicare and AARP UHC Medicare Supplement insurance, none of the essential parts of my treatment are covered. The custom back brace alone is $5,500, and when you add in required office visits every three months, x-rays, in-office procedures, lab work, and supplements, the total cost comes to about $12,000 — all out-of-pocket.

To make matters more urgent, the brace, lab work, and supplements must be paid for in advance, which is a huge financial challenge for me.

This is why I am asking for help.
