Help Rosemary as she fights cancer.

Hi everyone,

I am Kristen Howard and I am a dear friend of Rosemary Orozco. Rosemary just celebrated her 20th year as the bilingual teacher at Adrian Community Preschool. Rosemary recently has been diagnosed with Liver Cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma). She is having surgery to remove the large tumor (and a portion of her liver) on Thursday, September 29.

As you may know, Early Childhood professionals do not do what they do for the money. Working for a small non-profit organization for 20 years has not made Rosemary a rich woman monetarily (although she would argue she is rich in many other ways). Rosemary is a widow, which means her income at the preschool is her only source of income. She will be missing work for quite some time as she battles this horrible disease.

If you are able to contribute to this fund to help her with her bills, medical expenses, trips back and forth to U of M, etc it would be a huge help to Rosemary. We do not want her to worry about finances right now as she needs to concentrate on fighting this health battle!

Maybe Rosemary is a relative or a friend. Maybe she taught your son or daughter. Maybe you don't directly know Rosemary but feel compelled to help her out during this time. No matter your connection, no matter what you are able to give (even if it is just your prayers at this time), I know Rosemary greatly appreciates your love and support. Thank you!
