This is my cousin Rose-Marie’s story in her own words… “It started this Thanksgiving. I was originally diagnosed in 2006. Once I did all that treatment, I was good for 12 years. It came back September 2018 from that point I was great, The oral chemotherapy was working. Everything was good but after my mom passed away and my best friend passed away I wasn't feeling myself. I just figured it was because of all the loss come to find out my tumor markers jumped and I'm in the hospital the week before Thanksgiving because I can't walk and the pain in my spine was just on. They didn't do much for me in the hospital. They sent me home went through shortly after New Year's. I was back in the hospital and then I was there for a month come to find out I had compression fractures in my spine that they had to stabilize so that I would be able to walk. Now I’m on a new oral chemotherapy that's kicking my ass but it's also kicking cancers ass slowly but surely. Getting back to me only been a couple weeks since surgery but PT busts my ass trying to build my legs back up Bella (Daughter) and Joey (Son) are a huge help and I know eventually life will be OK. It's the medical bills go are out of this world but it is what it is just because I have cancer doesn't absolve me from bills it should I didn't ask for this shit, this is the biggest setback that I've had in a while thing is I'm coming back fighting.”
