Help Roselyn Fight Cancer and Heal

Donation protected
I don't even know where to begin.
Roselyn was admitted into the hospital on 1/28/2025 for severe constipation, and she had salmonella. After 2 days she finally pooped and was given instructions to continue the miralax. And we went home. Fast forward to 2/27/2025 her day started as everyday did she woke up, ate breakfast, went to school completely FINE. During the course of the day she just became sad, and not hungry and started running a temperature. Her stomach was hard which we were used to because of her constant constipation and usually when she gets backed up she doesn't wanna eat. So we went home gave her some miralax and she layed down, she woke up from nap saying her belly hurt so I got her up thinking she had to go to the bathroom. As I'm helping her go to the bathroom I feel a lump on the outside of her stomach. I turned her to the side and her whole left side was bulging out. We then take her to the doctors, because constipated or not THATS NOT NORMAL. When we get there the doctors felt her stomach, ordered X-rays and ultrasound, after getting the images back they noticed something they couldn't quite see on her left side so they ordered a cat scan with more contrast. Time goes by we're waiting on the DR to come in. Finally the door opens, two Drs come in. " There's no easy way to tell you guys this but she has a tumor attached to her kidneys and it looks like to be cancer" our hearts dropped. Did we just hear that right? Did she just tell us that our babygirl, who was COMPLETELY FINE just a week ago had a cancerous tumor in golfing her whole left kidney.
They told us we would have to get transferred to Orlando to Advent health all children's hospital.
Finally around 430am the next day we arrive in Orlando. They started doing a bunch of testing. Confirmed she did have cancer. And she would also have to loose her left kidney while doing the removal of the tumor. Since being here we have been battling a virus she caught, extremely high blood pressures, constant testing. Tons of tears. Tons of "mommy I wanna go home" our babygirl doesn't understand any of this. She just wants to go back to her normal. But we are far from that. As of today 3/4/2025 surgery is scheduled for Thursday 3/ 6/2025. It is a major surgery that will take between 3-4 hours. After surgery they will take the tumor and kidney and put it under a microscope and do further testing to see what kind of cancer she has. Once we have a name that will determine how strong of chemo she's going to need. I am out of work for AWHILE as she is gonna need intensive care after this is all said and done. Mathew is working when he can, but right now all we want is to be with our babygirl. This is scary. We don't want to miss any time with her, life is very unpredictable. With me not working, and Matt only working when he mentally can we're starting to struggle financially. We just released our home. We have to go back and forth daily for Logan between school and having to be at home at night (they don't allow siblings stay because of liability ) after surgery she's gonna need to continue going back and forth to Orlando for chemo. Having to get something quick and easy for food every night has taken a toll on us financially. We know everyone has something going on, and not everyone can donate. But if you can, please just share. We really really appreciate it. And continue praying for our sweet Rosie girl. We will continue to update as we get them . Thank you.

Update as of 3/5/2025
Thursday (3/6/2025) roselyn was supposed to have her surgery to remove the full tumor and kidney. Change of plans. Because the tumor is so large and she's so little there's to much risk in that. So now the plan is to still put her under but instead of taking the tumor they're gonna do a biopsy and place her port so they can start radiation/chemo to make the tumor shrink. She will then get reevaluated and if the tumor has shrunk they will do surgery. Because of them doing a biopsy that ups the stage of her cancer so she is now a stage 3. During those 6 weeks she will continue to stay in the hospital for evaluation while receiving chemo. It is now gonna be a longer road that we have anticipated. But anything to make out babygirl feel better.
