Help Rose Vann Messer with Chemotherapy Treatment Costs

Hi everyone, thank you for visiting the GFM for Rose Vann Messer. We created this page to hopefully try and raise money for her to be able to afford her out-of-pocket costs related to her chemotherapy treatments; since she doesn't have insurance and has no choice but to pay cash for every doctor visit, blood test, imaging test and medication. Fundraising in this manner is very vulnerable, especially since Rose has kept her diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) to herself for years, but there has been an unfavorable change in her condition that requires additional medications and treatments that are very expensive.

With CML, it is a lifelong diagnosis that requires you to have repetitive testing done and various chemotherapy treatments throughout the years. Additionally, it brings the constant worry of what your blood counts are going to be and what treatment you’ll need to do (pills, shots, IV, how strong, how long), how bad the side effects of the medicine are and when your body will stop responding to the current regimen - which is what’s going on now.

Since her body is no longer responding to the treatments, she’s having to take stronger chemotherapy medications that are costly. I know times are tough financially for everyone right now, but if you find it in your heart to donate, even a couple of dollars will make a difference.
