Im reaching out to my community.
TLDR? I need a mechanic who can see my situation and maybe help me out here.
8 years ago I bought this gorgeous car and spent countless hours getting her to a spot I was comfortable with. From getting a back up camera installed to grass mats for under my feet. One day she broke down and I waited 2 years before I was able to fix her up and get back on the road in my dream car. This cost me about 3k in expenses last august to get her back to running and hours of love and dedication went into this vehicle for the engine and tranny swap/rebuild.
In march I had to move to flea an unfortunate situation and moved to diamond springs in May. In the process of finding a job that can work with my custody schedule for pick ups and drop offs I applied to places all around and have been diligent in calling them and going to interviews. I finally got lined up for 2 jobs that will pay me well enough to survive and be ok and things were feeling super hopefull
On june 22nd I was leaving my place on my sons birthday. He turned 11. I went out to see my car was gone. A police report was made. The rental is great, but temporary.
On thursday we got the call that they had found my car. They said completely stripped and It broke my heart.
The following week we were able to go see my dream car in the condition they had found her in.
These people took my car and in less than a week took all of my hard work away from me. These people shot the windshield, filled her with trash, peed in my baby, they pooped in my car. By the time I found her the maggots and the smell alone were enough to make anyone wanna scream. But im not just anyone that was my dream car.
The back seat had a bunch of bracelets that I make for the purpose of giving away. They were all gone. They are probably broken or thrown away. The mindset these people hold makes no sense to me.
I cant believe people can do something so cold.
However im not letting it stop me. I have a car I can possibly get for super cheap but it needs some work. I cant afford the work so much but if i can find someone willing to help me for cheap I would really appreciate it.
Its an 04 subaru outback H6 engine
It needs power steering work done before I can drive it and I need it before the 21st so I have transportation for my son.
I know i am no longer in sonora area but ive only been away from home for 2 months, surely there's some sort of grace period.
