Hi, this is Rose and I am the fundraiser. On Thursday, May 22, The Inn Fire began along HWY 395 and quickly spread. Thanks to many firefighters, only one house was lost. Rose’s cabin thankfully and miraculously survived, but incurred a massive amount of damage from smoke and ash. After three weeks of being evacuated, we are able to move back home thanks to help from friends and the community, but are feeling the financial burden due to wage loss, throwing out unsalvageable furniture and belongings due to smoke damage, loss of food from freezer/fridge/pantry, purchasing cleaning supplies, and other costs associated with being under evacuation for 3 weeks. Any donation will help and is deeply appreciated! We have been using the funds to replace groceries and furniture, buy cleaning supplies and supplement wage loss.
