Thanks to the incredible love and generosity of everyone who contributed, Rose was able to raise enough money to undergo her surgery on February 6th.

Unfortunately, her recovery did not go as hoped. Just three days later, on February 9th, Rose began experiencing complications in the area where her tumor had been removed. After further examination and a tomography, doctors discovered residue in the intestinal region that, if left untreated, could have been the end of her life.

That same night, at 11:00 PM, Rose was taken into emergency surgery to address the affected area. Doctors successfully cleared the region, and a colostomy bag was placed temporarily as part of her treatment. She was intubated and admitted to the ICU to be closely monitored.

Rose spent three days in the ICU before being transferred to the IMCU on Friday, February 13th, where she continued to receive medication and care. After 19 days in the hospital, she was finally able to go home on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026.

She is now resting at home, surrounded by her family, and remains confident that she will recover fully in time.

The emergency surgery and extended hospital stay resulted in additional costs totaling over R$50,000.00 (roughly $10,000 USD). So far, R$15,000.00 ($3,000) has been covered, leaving a remaining balance of R$35,000.00 ($7,000). Rose and her family are deeply grateful for every bit of support received over these past months, and they welcome any contributions toward her remaining medical bills.
