HELP US HONOR ROSA

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking loss of Rosa, a beloved member of our Rosita’s Taco Shop and Fresco Eats family.

Rosa was so much more than an employee. She was a grandmother, mother, aunt, friend, and a loved one to so many people. She was someone who was part of our everyday lives, and her loss has left a tremendous hole in the hearts of her family, friends, coworkers, and our community.

Rosa was tragically taken from us after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street near our restaurant. Her passing was completely unexpected, and her family is now facing the heartbreaking reality of planning her funeral and laying her to rest.

We are asking our Rockport community, our customers, our friends, and everyone who knew and loved Rosa to please come together and help her family during this incredibly difficult time.

Most importantly, please keep Rosa’s family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this devastating loss.

And as we remember Rosa, we also want to ask everyone for something simple but incredibly important: Please slow down and pay attention when driving, especially at crosswalks. A busy crosswalk should be a place where people feel safe crossing the street. Please stop, look, and give pedestrians the time and space they need to get across safely.
