* After the events of September 30th, my wife has been diagnosed with stage 2 endometrial cancer and needs a total abdominal Hysterectomy, she needs a biopsy on her right breast and the insurance has been only covering so much, please we only got to 9% of our goal since we got this gofund me, I know there is more good people in this world and we appreciate every little help from everyone, this is a cry for help, is hard for us to ask for help, but nobody shows you how this kind of things are dealt with is a day by day thing, that you just hope eventually will go away completely, have insurance, have Drs. but bills are starting to pile up, we are reactivating updates here because the breast biopsy required her to pay 3000 on site right there and then and we don't have a way to give that kind of money away right now, because I will be staying with her 2 weeks to take care of her if only 10000 people would donate a dollar we would get to our goal.. thank you kindly ... please if you can't just keep us in your prayers .
Good afternoon, family and friends. On September 30th, my baby, my wife of 26 years, Rosario or Yayo, as many of you know her, fell seriously ill while we were waiting for a load of ambulances, of all things, in Ohio. She had been having bad bleedings for 3 days, but she thought she was managing. She had been resting, and it would come and go, always stopping. The night of the medical emergency, the bleeding turned into a hemorrhage, and I took the decision to take her to the emergency room. Sadly, our health insurance situation could not be worse; we were not covered. They took almost 24 hours stabilizing her with two blood transfusions and 2 saline, plus coagulation medicine. After some studies, she was diagnosed with an enlarged uterus with big fibroids. They wanted to get her to the OR, but they were aware she is a type 2 diabetic, and the medicine they used to stabilize her raised her sugar. With high sugar, it is not recommended to try to operate on anyone until it is controlled. They decided to stabilize her enough to send her home, with clear instructions for an ASAP follow-up with a doctor at home.
Since the day it happened, I've had a loss of wages and been moving as fast as we can to get coverage or emergency help to get her surgery done. I'm the only one working, and it's been hard. We already got the hospital bill, and it is over $10,000 for less than 24 hours.
Friends and family, I'm pleading for help. Anything helps. Yayo is a good person, doesn't have a mean bone in her, and if someone deserves help, it's her. Believe me, it's hard to ask for help; we always try to be the helpers. I need her to be okay. I want her to be healthy again. Please keep us in your prayers, and thank you for anything you can do to help. God bless. I'm a man of few words, but not this time. Thank you.
