Help Rosalie Relocate Near Family After Stage IV Cancer Diag

Donation protected
Over the past year, my life has changed in ways I never expected.

I have recently developed Stage IV (stage four) metastatic melanoma, which means the cancer has spread and is considered terminal. This diagnosis was sudden and life-changing, and it has forced me to rethink nearly every part of my life.

While I continue to focus on living well and staying as independent as possible, the reality is that my health is fragile and unpredictable.

Over the past several months, I’ve worked hard to apply for every assistance program I could find. Many of these applications took weeks or months, and some required extensive documentation and appeals. After a long process, I was finally approved for a few programs — but most of that support is limited to Georgia and does not transfer to Florida.

Because I’ll need to reapply after I move, there will be a gap before any new assistance becomes available.

Right now, my closest family is in the Tampa / Palm Harbor area of Florida. Being closer to them means emotional support, practical help when I need it, and the ability to face what’s ahead without doing it completely alone.

As much as I hate asking for help, this move isn’t about giving up — it’s about being responsible and realistic. It’s about making sure I’m safe, supported, and stable during the time I have.

I’ve always been fiercely independent, and I still am. I’m doing everything I can to handle this move myself. But between medical costs, deposits, transportation, and basic setup expenses, there’s a financial gap I can’t close alone.

This fundraiser is meant to help with:

• Moving and transportation costs
• Security deposit and initial housing expenses
• Utility setup and basic furnishings
• Medical-related travel and living costs
• Short-term stability while I get re-established

I’m not looking for sympathy. I’m looking for a practical bridge that allows me to relocate responsibly, preserve my independence, and spend this chapter of my life close to the people who love me.

If you’re able to help, I’m deeply grateful.
If you’re not, sharing this means more than you probably realize.

Thank you for being part of my life and my story.
