Help Rosa to have lifesaving heart surgery!

My aunt, Rosa Rojas, is a loving, energetic mother and grandmother. Recently, she was diagnosed with an Ascending Aorta Artery Aneurysm. An Aneurysm is an abnormal widening of a portion of the artery, due to a weakness in the blood vessel wall. This condition puts her life at risk, and it must be repaired as soon as possible to avoid major complications.

She is a mother and a grandmother, and she would like to see her children and grandchildren grow—including her newborn twin grandchildren!

What makes her situation very difficult is that she lives in Venezuela. Currently, Venezuela’s sociopolitical situation makes it very hard to find the means and medical resources to obtain proper medical care.

Mi tía, Rosa Rojas, es una abuela cariñosa y enérgica de 70 años. Recientemente, le diagnosticaron un aneurisma de la arteria aorta ascendente. Un aneurisma es un ensanchamiento anormal de una porción de la arteria, debido a una debilidad en la pared del vaso sanguíneo. Esta condición pone en riesgo su vida, y debe ser reparada lo antes posible para evitar complicaciones mayores.

Es madre y abuela, y le gustaría ver crecer a sus hijos y nietos, ¡incluidos sus nietos gemelos recién nacidos!

Lo que hace muy difícil su situación es que vive en Venezuela. Actualmente, la situación sociopolítica de Venezuela hace que sea muy difícil encontrar los medios y recursos médicos para obtener una atención médica adecuada.
