Rosa Maria, my mom and loving grandmother, has always been a pillar of strength and resilience. Despite facing health challenges like thyroid-related weight issues and other difficulties, she continues to get up every day and open her little shop in El Salvador. Even on days when she doesn't make enough to cover her expenses, she never gives up. Her determination and hard work have always inspired our family, and now she needs our help more than ever.
Recently, Rosa Maria was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes, with one eye more severely affected. Her vision is crucial for her to continue working and living independently. This surgery is vital for her quality of life, but unfortunately, the cost is more than our family can manage right now. My husband and I started our own business this year, and I left my Pre-K job to pursue our dreams. Like many new businesses, it's been a tough first year, and we simply can't afford to pay for her surgery on our own.
We are reaching out to the kindness of our community and beyond. The funds raised will go directly toward Rosa Maria's surgery and recovery. Since she lives in El Salvador, I will withdraw the funds here in the US and send them to her to cover her medical expenses. Anything helps, and if you can't contribute, we ask for your prayers. We believe that there is nothing impossible for Jesus. Thank you in advance—our family truly appreciates your support.
