Help Rosa Jarrin Get Life-Saving Treatment

Hello friends and family, my name is Mari, the last girl out of six kids. I will tell you a short story about the brave woman you can see in the pictures below.

My mom's name is Rosa Jarrin. Six months ago, she was diagnosed with one of the last stages of colon cancer and had to get surgery right away to remove her tumors; unfortunately, the insurance in our country could not take her case with the importance that was required. Her next appointment after the tumors’ extraction was 4 months later, and as a surprise, metastasis had spread to her liver. The doctor who took my mom's case said that she had no hopes (supposedly being a palliative case); hence, the hospital transferred her files to a different clinic. To make the story short, she never received the necessary care, and the clinic denied her the treatments she needed.

She will have to undergo another surgery and start chemotherapies, but her insurance does not want to cover them. After all, I am beyond thankful to God, because expectantly we still have time to do something… Thanks to the family that has been present and helping us, and thanks to another group of doctors, now she could possibly be treated as a regular cancer patient, which she actually is.

My mom needs all our help, and there is hope because I myself see that she has all the energy to walk through this hard process. She sure has been through a lot of ups and downs, but she deserves this, she deserves to live. We have been doing all that is in our hands, and we will still do it. I’m sure of this: we cannot just sit and cry, we must be supportive and help another person who is having a hard time. This is not just about my mom.
