I’m writing this with tears in my eyes.

My grandma, Rosa, is 72 years old and right now she is fighting for her life in Mexico. She has a blocked artery in her heart, and doctors say she urgently needs a pacemaker to keep her heart beating. Without this, we could lose her… and we are running out of time.

Rosa is not just my grandma, she is the heart of our entire family. She is the kind of person who would give you her last dollar, who always made sure everyone else was okay before herself. Her hugs feel like home, her smile can light up the darkest days, and her love has held our family together through everything.

Seeing her like this is breaking us. She has always been so strong for us… and now she needs us more than ever.

We are trying everything we can, but the medical costs are more than we can handle. I hate having to ask, but I would do anything to save her life.
