My mother is a loving, kind, and God-fearing woman. She has always shown up for others — with compassion, with strength, and with unwavering faith. She believes in God's will, and while she accepts whatever path He has for her, she wants to fight for her life if there’s still a chance.

After a period of remission from lung cancer, the disease has returned and spread to her liver — a distant recurrence that has made her diagnosis stage 4 and terminal. She is in severe pain, and her condition is progressing.

We recently moved to Texas, and being far from close friends and extended family has made this journey even more difficult. Chemotherapy has been approved — and while it cannot cure her, it can offer more time, more comfort, and more moments with those who love her most.

Treatment can begin soon, but only if we can pay a large portion upfront due to insurance limitations. The hospital does offer financial assistance, but applying will delay treatment — and time is not on our side.
