Hello, my name is Nancy Gallegos and I am asking for support on behalf of my aunt and uncle, Rosa and Orlando Gallegos. They have tragically lost their son, David Gallegos, in a car accident. My cousin David was only 40 years old. He was a hard-working, funny, caring, and loyal human. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, martial arts community, and pets, Buster and Lola.

While most of our family lives in the Bay Area, David was living alone in San Antonio, Texas, pursuing (and crushing) his career goals. This is making an already difficult task more challenging. We will need to arrange multiple trips to handle the necessary arrangements on top of the funeral services.

Additionally, we are urgently looking for a loving, stable home for Buster and Lola. They are currently under care with Cathy's Critter Care Family, and it would mean the world if they could be adopted together rather than separated or placed in a shelter. They have been together since they were puppies. Lola is a female German Shepherd Mix and Buster is a male American Bully.

I understand it's the holidays, and times are tough. Anything you can contribute - whether a donation or a share, or help finding a home for Buster and Lola - would mean more to our family than words can express. The unimaginable has occurred for my aunt and uncle, losing a daughter and son tragically in less than 10 years, both under 40 years old. Your kindness, compassion, and support during this heartbreaking time will never be forgotten.
