Shortly after the new year started, my one-year-old started having violent seizures, as many as up to 50 times a day.

My suspicion was that the toxic mold in our home, which had been making me sick the last few years, might trigger these seizures for Rory. So we made the three-day drive down to FL. Immediately, she went from an average of 30-40 seizures to an average of 3-4. Seeing this dramatic change prompted me to make the drive back up to get Arabella, her older sister, and enroll her in the rest of the school year here.

As excited as I was to see the frequency, intensity, and duration of these episodes greatly reduced, we still have episodes, so we need to continue seeking treatment. In addition to a traditional pediatric neurologist, we are pursuing a recommended Neurologically-Focused Chiropractic Care treatment plan that looks extremely promising in resetting her nervous system from the mold toxicity.

I’ve exhausted my resources and line of credit to get us this far, so we need some help to get us to a seizure-free finish line. I have faith it is possible for her to have an epilepsy diagnosis and lead a seizure-free life.
