Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help on behalf of my dear friend, Roozbeh, and his family, who have tragically lost their home in the devastating LA fires. In the blink of an eye, everything they’ve worked for—their home, memories, and belongings—has been reduced to ashes. What makes this loss even harder is the emotional toll of losing the sense of security and stability that a home provides.

Adding to their heartbreak, Roozbeh’s children no longer have their schools to return to, and much of their community has been destroyed. The places they once called familiar, the friends and neighbors they saw every day, are all gone. The sense of grief they feel goes beyond just losing material possessions; it’s the loss of the life they once knew—their routines, their connections, their foundation.

Thankfully, Roozbeh and his family have made it out safely, but they are now left with nothing but the clothes on their backs and the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives. It’s a daunting journey, and while they are incredibly thankful to be alive, the challenges ahead are immense.

For those who know Roozbeh, you understand that he’s not just a friend—he’s family. Over the years, he has built deep, lasting relationships with his colleagues and has always been the first to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. We want to come together as his extended family to help him during this incredibly tough time, just as he’s been there for us time and time again.
