Help Roots get TPLO Surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Olivia and Roots is my 1 year old rescue red heeler (ACD). He was found in a live trap and brought to an animal shelter underweight and terrified from living on the streets. I brought him home June 20th to be a brother to my 2 year old husky Cypress. Roots is super athletic, snuggly, protective, goofy, and loves all sorts of activity.
Today 12-3-23 after our morning hike Roots was acting different and holding his leg up. After realizing he was in major distress and pain we went to the Animal Hospital where we spent 6 hours getting X-rays. Roots was diagnosed with a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) aka the dogs version of a humans ACL. I was told that he needs immediate TPLO surgery which they estimated to be up to $6000.
I do not have this money at the speed it is needed.
Anyone who knows me would tell you my dogs are my life and that I would do anything for them. I will put every penny towards them to give them the best life.
If you are able to donate or even share, all funds will go towards Roots surgery and recovery cost. I will be forever thankful. We appreciate you reading this far and hope you are able to help Roots get back to the frisbee obsessed cattle dog he is. Thank you.
