Help Rooster get to Switzerland

Hi my name is Tanya-Lee and I am raising funds to help my son Waryk (Rooster) Holmes to pay for training/travelling costs to get to Switzerland in May to compete at

Weltklasse am See, Arbon

Nottwil 2023 World Para Athletics Grand Prix – ParAthletics, Nottwil

Do-Sa, 25.-27. Mai 2023

These are International wheelchair track events and he will compete against the best in his classification of T34.

Waryk has Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy and when he was little we were told he would never be able to achieve too much but he is determined to always prove people wrong.

He attended these competitions last year for the first time and set all new PB’s and is now ranked 20th in the world.

He has big aspirations of competiting for Australia at the Paralympics and we are doing everything we can to support him!

He trains 7 days a week which is often challenging as he trains on rollers for the majority of it as we do not have an athletics track in Bathurst so we travel to Canberra to train at the AIS with Fred Periac.

This brings its own challengers as I also have a disability so often means having to pay for travel costs and accomodation as it is 3 hours away.

We really just want to give him the best chance of chasing his dream and if you could spare $5 a cup of coffee towards this he would be so appreciative.
