The Roosevelt High School Volleyball team has achieved something truly special this season. With 16 dedicated players—9 seniors, 5 juniors, 2 sophomores, and 1 freshman—this group has shown what hard work, resilience, and teamwork can accomplish. For the seniors, their journey began with a challenging freshman year, finishing with a 1-13 record. Through years of determination and growth, they have now finished second in the Metro Tournament, are competing for the top spot in Districts, and have earned a place among the top 20 teams in the entire state.

This year, Roosevelt will be the only 3A Seattle Public High School representing Metro at the State Championship tournament in Yakima. The excitement and pride among players, coaches, parents, and fans is overwhelming. However, Seattle Public Schools is not providing funding for team transportation or accommodations for this important trip. While the team has worked hard to raise money throughout the season, they are coming up just short for this final, crucial journey.

We are reaching out to our community for support. Your donation will help ensure safe transportation for the team to Yakima and help offset the costs of accommodations and meals during the tournament. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to making this dream a reality for these hardworking athletes. Please join us in showing your Rider Pride and supporting Roosevelt Volleyball as they represent our school and city at State!

We need your support as soon as possible—funds are needed by Wednesday, 11/19, to ensure the team can make the trip. Thank you for helping us reach this important deadline!
