We are a rookie robotics team, from Hudson HS of Learning Technologies, competing in the First Tech Challenge this year. Despite most of our team not having any exposure to robotics before this, we’ve had a great season - winning our Qualifier and Super Qualifier and breaking regional and state records along the way. We are now headed to NYC Championships on March 3rd. Hopefully we go onto worlds in Houston, TX in April.
We are raising funds to help the sustainability of our team. Funds will go to financing our trip to worlds, if (hopefully when) we make it. Funds will also be used to buy our team merchandise (which we currently make on our own using a cricut), materials for our giveaways (keychains, stickers, etc), snacks and food during competition days (which are usually 12 hour days), transportation to and from competitions (some schools are not easily accessible by public transportation), supplies for outreach (we give back to our community by teaching younger children about STEM), and supplies and parts for our robot.
