Help Roo Get a Life-Changing Wheelchair

Most of you know who Roo is, my beloved almost 8 year old French bulldog! I’ve had him since he was 9 weeks old and I can’t imagine life without him. He’s truely gotten me through the craziest parts of my life. About 6 weeks ago he came down with IVDD(Degenerative disc disease). Surgery was not guaranteed to work and started at 10k-15k and that was just not doable for us so we went with anti inflammatory meds and rest and while I’m happy to report that he is no longer in pain he unfortunately has remained paralyzed in his entire hind end. He now also suffers incontinence and requires regular cleaning and changing or assistance to use the bathroom. We have purchased him a “drag bag” which works decently in the house and keeps him from road rashing his legs outside on the ground however outside he can still not get around much, run or go for walks and it over heats him pretty quickly(frenchies are already very sensitive to heat and humidity so imagine running around in a zip up nylon sack ). With three small kids, the current state of the economy, and money spent on vet bills and our own medical bills this year, etc. a wheel chair for my dog was NOT on my 2024 bingo card so here I am asking for your help. There are a few wheel chairs on Amazon but the reviews are ify and I have yet to find one that will fit him measurement wise(he has small dog height and length but his neck and chest are almost as wide as our 70lb Doberman). This wheel chair is like to get him has been used by many other frenchies I have followed along with who also have endured this(very common issue for this breed) but it is slightly more costly though I’m confident will last him the rest of his life. Any amount helps! Even if you cannot contribute passing this along to friends and getting the word around is helpful as well! Thank you!!
