Grand Canyon or Bust: The Old Man in a Van ❤️

At 84 years young, our dad Ron Brady has one dream he’s held onto for decades: to see the Grand Canyon with his own eyes. Not from a postcard. Not from a TV screen. But standing there, feeling its vastness, breathing in the desert air, and soaking in one of the most awe-inspiring sights on earth.

He’s calling this journey “Grand Canyon or Bust” — or as we like to say, “The Old Man in a Van.”

This isn’t just any road trip. It’s a tribute to a life spent giving.

Our dad has always put family first. He worked hard, sacrificed his own dreams, and gave his time, energy, and heart to raising children, helping with grandchildren, and supporting our household through every season of life. While others chased adventures, he quietly chose responsibility and love.

Now, it’s his turn.

His plan? To hit the road in his beloved 1960 Ford Econoline van — a vehicle as full of character and history as he is — and make the journey to the Grand Canyon for the very first time.

We’re raising $7,000 to help make this dream possible. The funds will go toward:

* Preparing and restoring his vintage van for a safe journey

* Gas, lodging, and travel expenses

* Ensuring he’s comfortable and cared for along the way
