Help Ronny's Aunt Get Lifesaving Surgery

Hello everyone,

We are reaching out during a very difficult time to ask for your help and compassion. My fiancé Ronny’s beloved aunt in the Dominican Republic is in urgent need of a lifesaving medical procedure. She is currently suffering from empyema, a serious condition involving a buildup of pus around her lungs, which is making it incredibly difficult for her to breathe and function normally.

To make things more complicated, she is also anemic and will require additional blood transfusions as part of the surgery and recovery process. Her condition is critical, and without this procedure, her life is at serious risk.

The total cost of the surgery and associated medical care is $10,000, a sum that is unfortunately out of reach for her and her family in the Dominican Republic. Ronny’s family is doing everything they can to raise the money, but they need help — and that’s why we’re turning to our community, friends, and kind-hearted strangers who may be able to lend support.

If you can contribute anything at all — even a few dollars — it would mean the world to Ronny, his family, and especially to his aunt. The funds will go toward her hospital expenses, surgery, and post-op care. Because the GoFundMe website is not compatible with Dominican pesos (the currency used in the Dominican Republic), every donation will go directly to me (Kaitlyn), in the United States and then to Ronny and his family in the Dominican Republic.
