Help Ronnie Receive a Five Star Christmas

Hi my name is Olivia and I am fundraising for my Uber driver turned friend of a few years named Ronnie. Ronnie is a hard-working enthusiastic man who has made a difference in my life. Everyone who gets in his car, leaves smiling. For months now I have been riding with him and he has spoken about his elderly mother that lived in Sri Lanka, who he couldn’t wait to visit for Christmas! It had been years since they saw one another, and with the country shutting down due to the pandemic, this delayed his trip even further. Ronnie eventually saved up enough money to pay his rent while he was gone as well as enough for a round trip ticket to go see his mom. Unfortunately, he received news on December 7th that his mom had passed away. In speaking to Ronnie on the phone, he told me about his newly adjusted plans to now make it to his mom’s services. I am so saddened by this news and would love for Ronnie to spend the extended time he needs with his family without having to worry about his rent. I am hoping to raise a little extra to help him through this difficult time and put a smile on his face in the way he has done for so many others.
