Help Ronnie Rebound from Harvey

Hello, I am Karen Reed and I would like to start by thanking you for taking the time to read about this wonderful lady. Meet my friend Ronnie. I have known her for 46 years. Her sister, Cheryl and I have been friends since Cheryl and I met in the 7th grade. We all grew up in Pasadena. I consider both of these ladies my sisters. Throughout the years she has been a true friend and I have watched as she has helped others and expected nothing in return.
Ronnie lives in Pasadena, TX, an area heavily impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Her home took on water and she has lost everything including her car. Much of what was lost is not replaceable, such as family pictures and mementos. While we can't replace those things, she is in desparate need of help restoring her home to a liveable condition and replacing at least some basic furnishings.
Ronnie is 77 years old and does not have the resources to even get started. Her home has flooded before and she commented that she had hoped that she would not live to see another such incident. That crushed my heart because I have never, ever once heard her down like that.
She needs funds, building supplies and labor. If you can contribute any of these things, we would both be grateful.
