Help Ronnie Fight Familial Adenomatous Polyposis and Get Back on His Feet
This past May our son, Ronald Eith III, was diagnosed with Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP) — a rare but treatable disease that caused several tangerine-sized tumors and over 1,000 polyps in his colon.
In June 2025, Ronnie underwent a 10-hour surgery to remove his colon. What was expected to be a two-step recovery has turned into a long, painful journey filled with unexpected complications and multiple follow-up procedures. This has left him with multiple scars and wounds on his abdomen but also decimated his overall health dropping almost 30 pounds from his frame. Now, he faces yet another major surgery, extending his recovery time by 6 to 12 more months.
Ronnie is a proud Local 3 Apprentice Electrician, Eagle Scout from Troop 93, a graduate of Carey High School and a East Stroudsburg University Alumnus. He grew up in Franklin Square and Garden City South, where most of his family still lives and stays active in the community.
Both his Mom and Dad have taken extensive time off work to support him through this difficult time. We’re asking for your help to ease the burden of medical expenses and give Ronnie the support he needs to get back on his feet. His recovery period will extend into 2026 and beyond.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.
Thank you for standing with Ronnie and the Eith family during this fight.
