Our son and brother Ronnie was critically injured in a head on collision. Ronnie was severely injured, his truck caught fire and he suffered extensive injuries that required him to be airlifted to a level one trauma center in Grand Rapids. Ronnie is in the ICU on a ventilator fighting for his life. Ronnie has extensive injuries that are going to require major surgery and extensive rehabilitation. Unfortunately due to a recent career change Ronnie did not have medical insurance at the time of this accident. Currently our family is with him in Grand Rapids staying in hotels in order to be close to him to help manage his care. Ronnie has suffered injuries to his brain, resulting in several small hemorrhages, injuries to his lungs, and severe breaks to his jaw, pelvis, and foot. Ronnie’s road to recovery is going to be a long road requiring extensive physical rehabilitation. As such we are asking those who are able to donate to help our family in this time of need. Your donations would help with Ronnie’s medical expenses and the cost of a hotel for our family during this time along helping to pay Ronnie’s mortgage while he is recovering in Grand Rapids.
