Help Ronnie Get His Lifesaving Transplant

Donation protected
As many of you know Ronnie Kidd had been very sick in 2024. In July 2024 he was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and started seeing a liver specialist. The specialist told him if he didn’t drink alcohol and ate a special diet that he could improve his liver values and heal his liver. He has done that to the best of his ability. He has not drank alcohol since July of 2024 and has tried to stick to the diet as best he could.

Ronnie has been in and out of the hospital numerous times since his diagnosis. Despite everything he has done his liver values have continued to get worse. In January 2025 he was hospitalized again and was told his values still had not improved but he was not critical yet. Shortly after going home, he got more ill and had to go back in the hospital.

On February 20, 2025 Ronnie was told that is liver values had gotten even worse and is now diagnosed with End Stage Liver Disease and without a liver transplant he only has 3-4 months to live.

There is no longer a liver transplant team in Tucson. On March 1, 2025 Ronnie got transferred from Tucson to a Phoenix hospital that is able to do liver transplants. They are currently doing a bunch of testing to see if he qualifies for a transplant.

If Ronnie is blessed enough to qualify for the transplant and can find a match there is A LOT of aftercare. He will have to stay in the hospital 2 weeks post-transplant and will have to stay in a hotel in Phoenix that is close to the hospital for 2 months. He will have to provide his own 24/7 care giver, take 4-hour classes five days a week and do physical therapy. He will have a ton of doctor visits and testing. His mom will be out of work for at least 2 months to take care of him.

Ronnie has not wanted to ask for help to pay for his medical but he has run out of options. As you can imagine his medical bills are piling up. His family has done everything they can to help pay them. However, everyone is tapped out. Bills continue to come in and add up for hospital visits, specialist and medications.

I know that everyone will want to reach out to check on Ronnie. He is exhausted and has asked that you give him time to get his testing done, hopefully get his transplant and time to heal. I will keep everyone up to date and will answer any questions that I can.

Anything you can donate to help will be greatly appreciated and will be used to pay his bills and will help to try to save his life. Please share this to try and help Ronnie as best we all can.
