Help Ronnie and Janice Overcome Medical Crisis

Our good friends and favorite fun couple, Ronnie Patterson and Janice Broom, could use a little help. After being admitted into the hospital with a blood infection, MRSA, Ronnie spent thirty-two days hospitalized. While in the hospital, he suffered a heart attack, and his condition continued to deteriorate. Subsequently, he was diagnosed with liver and kidney failure. At one point, his health decline was so dire that we almost lost him! Thankfully, he began dialysis and pulled through. Though he is slowly improving, all he has been through has left him extremely weak and unable to function normally.

It goes without saying how emotionally difficult all this has been for Ronnie and Janice, as they faced this unexpected crisis a mere six months before their upcoming wedding date. Although they are still rocked by how suddenly their lives have changed, the kindness, love, and support shown by friends and family have seen them through the scariest and most uncertain times, and for that, they are deeply grateful.

Ronnie is now home, and he and Janice are settling into his new healthcare routine. Part of the new routine is three weekly trips to Conway for dialysis, which is anticipated to be necessary from here on out. The time missed from their jobs, the additional expenses for the extended medical care Ronnie requires, and the uncertainty of his ability to return to work have caused significant and long-lasting financial strain. More than ever, they need our love and emotional support, but they also need help to alleviate some of the financial burden. Any amount you can contribute will be most appreciated.
