I am a single, elderly lady living alone in an apartment in Florida. For many years, I have worked as a driver, earning just enough to get by. Recently, I suffered an injury to my right foot, which became infected. Despite the pain, I continued to drive, but now it has become too painful most days, reducing my income substantially. I have no one to turn to for financial assistance.

The infection in my foot has been diagnosed as osteomyelitis, a serious condition where the infection enters the bone. Without proper treatment, I face the risk of amputation. I spent three days in the hospital and have plenty of medical records to show my diagnosis.

In addition to this, I recently went to a dentist to get a tooth extracted, and I received extremely sloppy care by her which caused lockjaw.

Her lack of knowledge of where to place the needle for novocaine has caused nerve damage. the terminology is called novocaine needle injury.

I have spent four to six hours every day for two weeks trying to find the proper surgeon who can reverse this result. I have missed so much more work, in addition to the foot problem. because of this.

Unfortunately, some of my medical expenses, medications, and tests are not covered by Medicare.
