Jonathon Feldmann, adult son of Rhonda Brew has accepted the responsibility to take charge of your very generous donations. As Rhonda progresses in her recovery, there will be many expenses related to her daily needs. These include interim care, followed by transportation to her temporary assisted living, (for which he has already applied & should begin in approximately 40 days), fixturing her Patagonia home with ramps, safety bars etc. ... personal services for shopping, meal preparations, transport, ongoing physical & occupational therapy, possibly bathing & dressing. Fortunately "Jonny" lives in Mesa AZ and has the ability to travel the 2 hours to Tucson & 3 hours to Patagonia attending to the many tasks in support of his mother.

Hello residents in and around Patagonia.
Alone in her home, last week, Rhonda Brew suffered a major stroke, paralyzing the left side of her body ; face to foot. By the grace of miracles & timely hero's, she was Heli-lifted to St. Mary's Rehab Center in Tucson. There the cranial blood clot was suctioned and she immediately and courageously began the tortuous process of rehabilitating; ... her speech, her breathing, her left arm, hand, leg & foot. Not one single person who has lived in this very special community in the recent two decades ... or visited or even just passed through, doesn't know Rhonda. Quite nearly ever storefront sign in town ... and "a 1,000 more" near & far ... set the magical tone for the peace, pride & joy we all enjoy daily. It all sprang & springs from her talented hands and unique mind. Rhonda is truly a Patagonia community treasure.
There will be immediate needs to numerous to list ... things like retro fitting her home with ramps, safety bars, assists and aids. She will need devices, & supportive equipment ... she will need people help ... perhaps with dressing, transportation, moving about her premises, perhaps cooking, shopping ... maintaining her new encumbered daily doings. She will fondly welcome visits, conversation, perhaps a nice scented candle or a new book.
This financial goal is just a guess, but certain to be needed as Rhonda is committed to rebuilding her whole life. Our other goal is soon to witness new Rhonda Brew signs as they continue to beautify our wonderful town of Patagonia AZ.
