Help Ronald Stay Enrolled at Florida A&M University

Hi, my name is Ronald Maurice Simmons, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Music Education at Florida A&M University.

I’m reaching out during a critical moment in my academic journey. By January 6, I must raise $8,000 toward my tuition balance, or my classes will be dropped, and I will be forced to unenroll for the semester. This would pause my education and set me back significantly from achieving my lifelong dream.

I come from a single-income, single-parent household, and while my family has always supported my goals emotionally, the financial burden of college—tuition, housing, and academic expenses—has been overwhelming. I’ve done everything possible to stay on track, but at this point, I cannot meet this balance alone.

Music education is more than a degree to me—it’s my calling. My goal is to become a band director and music educator, inspiring students the same way my mentors inspired me. I want to give back to my community through music, leadership, and education.

Any contribution—no matter the size—will directly help me remain enrolled and continue my education. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you’re able to offer. Your generosity truly makes a difference.
