My father, Ronald, is 72 years old and has faced more challenges than most people could imagine. Despite ongoing health issues and being homeless several times, he has never stopped working. Every single day, seven days a week, Ronald gets up at 4 am to work for DoorDash and a taxi company, just to try to make ends meet. Even with all his hard work, it’s been incredibly difficult for him to pay his bills and buy food. As his only family, I do everything I can to help, but as a single mom, my support is limited. I help when I can, but it’s never enough to truly make a difference.

Ronald is a veteran who was honorably discharged, but he doesn’t receive veterans benefits. Despite his own struggles, he has always had a huge heart—donating to children in need through feeding programs whenever he could. He has never used drugs and has always been a loving, caring father who believes deeply in the Lord. It breaks my heart to see him so tired and still working every day at his age, just to survive.

The funds raised through this campaign will help my father retire and cover his living expenses, so he can finally rest and not have to work every day.
