On August 14, 2025, our lives changed forever.

Ronald was riding his motorcycle home southbound on I-95 when, in an instant, everything turned upside down. A driver made the reckless decision to cross over the highway dividers—from the regular lane onto the express lane—and struck Ronald. The impact was catastrophic, throwing him off his bike and leaving him critically injured.

Ronald was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries and had to be intubated for several days. Since that day, he has undergone multiple surgeries and now faces a long and painful road to recovery. The accident left him unable to walk and unable to use both of his arms. He is now beginning the extremely difficult process of relearning how to perform basic, everyday tasks we often take for granted, like brushing his teeth, feeding himself, and even sitting up unassisted.

Because of these injuries, Ronald hasn’t been able to return to work, and the financial burden on him and his family has become overwhelming. The costs of medical treatment, ongoing rehabilitation, necessary equipment, and everyday living expenses keep accumulating, and the pressure to cover them is becoming overwhelming.

That’s why we are humbly asking for your help. We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to ask for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will help cover the overwhelming medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, necessary equipment, modifications for daily living, ongoing therapy, and basic living expenses during this difficult time. Your generosity will also help with lost income while Ronald focuses on recovery.

The road ahead is long, and the challenges are immense. But with your kindness and support, there is hope. We believe Ronald is a fighter, and he can regain his independence with the right resources.
