My name is Ronald, and I am reaching out for help during the most difficult time of my life. My fiancée, Jaleesa Maxfield, was my soulmate, my best friend, and my confidant. We were together for nearly 13 years, sharing everything from our favorite foods to our thoughts and dreams. Our anniversary was on her birthday, and we always celebrated by cooking together and making memories that I will cherish forever.
On Sunday morning, January 11th, 2026, I woke up to find Jaleesa had passed away suddenly from a heart attack while lying next to me. I did everything I could to bring her back, performing CPR until the ambulance arrived, but she was gone. The pain of losing her is unimaginable, and my heart is broken. Her funeral service is scheduled for January 26th in Richmond, Virginia, and I need help to get there to say my final goodbye and honor her memory.
My finances have been stretched thin by bills and the holidays, and I simply do not have the means to cover the travel, lodging, and food expenses needed to attend her service. I am asking for any support you can offer to help me make this journey and return home safely. Thank you for your kindness and generosity—may God bless you for your help. I know Jaleesa is looking down and watching over me, and your support means the world to both of us.
