Help in Ron’s Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

Cancer does not call, write or schedule an appointment – it knocks on your life door and lets itself in. In early September 2020, our dear friend, Ron Stevens received the unfortunate diagnosis of Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer which has spread to his liver. 

If you know Ron, he is the nicest, most positive and helpful person. A hard working, skilled carpenter who dedicates his time off to help out friends and family. With an outlook that’s always on the bright side, no obstacle ever stands in Ron’s way. He’s a bright light with the kindest heart and a can-do mentality. And, the best dog dad to Charlie!

Ron has started chemotherapy to see how the cancer responds. Surgery is no longer an option. So, his family is looking into alternative pancreatic cancer treatments designed to provide options for inoperable tumors. 

The money raised here will go to offset out of pocket medical bills, medication and ongoing care. With every appointment comes a cost. With every procedure comes a cost. With every trip, meal, treatment, a cost that Ron didn't prepare for. A cost that he couldn't prepare for.

Please urgently forward this to as many people as possible and encourage friends to do the same (even those who do not know Ron may think it is a good cause to donate to). As a community we can help Ron and his family with the financial burden that lies ahead so Ron can focus on fighting this.
