As most of you know my dad, Ron Parker (Sue Parker) was seriously injured on January 17th. While cleaning the driveway (using his tractor with a 6 foot PTO unit snow blower attachment) he got out of the tractor without shutting off the blower (he knows better, and has never done that before)....slipped on the ice and fell into the blower. His cartharts got wrapped into the auger, pulling him into the blower. He has 3 broken bones in his right hand, amputated a finger on his left hand, has severe cuts to his right leg and has ruptured a tendon in his right knee. He is covered in cuts and bruises all over his body. He cannot walk and has use of only a couple of fingers on his left hand. Basically he is not able to do anything for himself at the moment. He will be out of work for a minimum of 12–16 weeks. Dad is a proud man and would never ask for help from anyone. But my dad is always the first to step up and help others. Now I’m hoping that as a community we can step up to help him. Being self employed he will not be earning any income for months. If you can help even a little it would be greatly appreciated.
