Help Ron Wise & Family

Hi, my name is Ashley Rhew and I am raising money (and prayers) for my dear friends, Ron and Lisa Wise and family, after Ron's covid diagnosis. As of September 27, Ron was admitted to Kootenai Health ICU. Ron continues to remain in critical condition. His lungs are very sick and struggling tremendously. The doctors have stated the disease is progressing much more quickly than they have seen. Ron is currently on 40 liters of high-flow oxygen and relying on bipap more and more. Bipap is the the last resort before being intubated and put on a ventilator. As the breadwinner for his family and being self-employed, Ron currently has no health insurance. In addition, Lisa has tested positive for covid and is having to quarantine away from all friends and family. I am reaching out to our community, family, and friends in hopes that we all might be able to step up and help this incredibly giving, kind, and selfless family in their time of need. The money raised here will help to pay medical bills, monthly bills, etc.

Over the years, Ron and the Wise family has touched our North Idaho community in many ways. Ron was a crossing guard at Hayden Meadows Elementary, where the kids absolutely adored seeing him everyday. Ron graciously dedicated countless hours and weekends to live streaming volleyball tournaments for those who could not attend or live out of the area. (Good guys/Bad guys, lol). Lisa is a fiercely dedicated, compassionate, giving mother and friend. From driving carpool to caring for her parents to being a loyal friend, Lisa has continually put others first and expected nothing in return. Ron and Lisa have four incredibly bright and flourishing children and two beautiful grandbabies. The devotion to their family and friends has been seen and felt by all that know them. My hope is we can now return the kindness, compassion, and selflessness that the Wise family has given to all that have been honored to know them.
