Help Ron Sambrano recover from the Lahaina Fire

Aloha. My name is Harry Prince and I live in Maui. My good friend Ron Sambrano, born and raised in Lahaina, lost his home and most of his possessions in the Lahaina wildfire. Ron is one of the most generous, hard working and fun-loving people I know. He is facing an uncertain future and I am hoping that “with a little help from my friends”, we can offer Ron some financial stability as he navigates these troubled times. It’s been one month since the Lahaina wildfires. One month of unimaginable distress for those displaced, those that lost so much. Today, for the first time since the events of August 8th, I spent a few hours with Ron. We had a long lunch together and talked story. In the twenty plus years that I’ve known Ron, I’ve always admired his quick wit, his big smile, his sense of humor, his intelligence, his peaceful and calm demeanor. Today, I’m happy to report that he is moving forward with great determination and high spirits! The Ron that I’ve known since our time together at Down to Earth in Lahaina, is the same Ron that I spent time with today. Bent but not broken. Just another reason to admire Ron.
