Hi, I am Kim McKee, Ron's sister-in-law. As some of you know, Ron has been courageously fighting Stage 4 Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma—an aggressive and challenging form of kidney cancer. Despite the difficult diagnosis, Ron continues to face each day with strength and determination to fight this cancer.

Ron is receiving specialized care at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. This step offers hope, but it also comes with overwhelming costs: travel, lodging, medications, procedures, and now, a mounting wave of out-of-pocket medical expenses. To make matters more difficult, Ron has reached his lifetime maximum on his health insurance, leaving him and his family responsible for all major medical bills at a time when his focus should be solely on healing and staying strong.
