Our beloved horse Ron recently faced every horse owner’s worst nightmare — a sudden and severe colic that required emergency surgery to save his life.

The surgery was successful, but his recovery has been extremely difficult with complications. Ron is currently in intensive care, receiving round-the-clock monitoring, IV fluids, and medication to help his digestive system start working again. Every small improvement feels like a victory, but he still has a long road ahead.

Ron means the world to us — he’s not just a horse, but a member of our family, a gentle soul with a big heart who’s given so much joy and comfort to everyone around him.

The cost of his care is quickly adding up — surgery, hospitalization, and ongoing treatments are already in the thousands, and we want to give him every chance to recover fully and come home.
