Ron Bizeau's journey has been an amazing one.  In general for the last 3 + years he has been on a LVAD pump.  June 10th he was told the pump was deemed defective and he needed to go to Loyola immediately for the fear the pump would stop working.  June 15th he was in surgery getting a new heart.  He has had his ups and downs during recovery, but on June 30th he was released to come home. 

Now since restrictions are high for Ron's meals.   We decided giving Ron and his wife, Kristie money towards a meal service, cleaning service, and co-pays, was the best way to help them out for a while.

More explanation -

Concerning food prep - He can't have water from the tap, just bottled water. They will have to wash the fruits and veggies outsides whether they are edible or not in a vinegar mixture, even bananas! All meats must be well done, including steak and burgers, no soft cheeses or sushi . Low sodium and low fat. They are researching the best meal service that is good tasting and does low sodium & fat.

Cleaning - They have to keep the house clean and sanitized, and with 3 hairy cats, it has been a challenge.

Money has been always tight with Ron being self-employed.

The family is feeling overwhelmed with all the nuances, so any way we can help will be great.
