Help Ron and Julie Through Their Health Crisis

Hello. My name is Deanna Johnson and I am appealing on behalf of my friend Ron Briggs. He is a person with a big heart who always has had time to help others in need. He has always been very generous with his many talents, assisting friends and neighbors who need help with maintenance projects around their homes. He has been the mastermind for my various garden projects for many years.

Now he and his partner Julie are in need of help. For years, he has been the sole supporter and at times caregiver for Julie. He has always supported himself and Julie by working with his hands and using physical labor to accomplish miracles. Recently, Julie has suffered from many health issues and now cannot drive herself to her medical appointments or to buy needed medications.

Despite everything Ron has done, now a very serious health issue, cancer of the esophagus and stomach, threatens to undermine everything he has worked for. He needs help in many ways but perhaps most importantly, financial help. His home is heated entirely by wood, so he needs to purchase a constant supply of firewood. He needs help to pay for everyday bills we all have, buy groceries and to procure medications for Julie.

So I am appealing to those of you with a big heart and understanding of just how much this can devastate not only one family, but also the community that surrounds him, to donate to this cause.
