Thank you to everyone who has been following Romulus’s story and sadly we don’t not have the best update: Unfortunately we are not out of the woods just yet

Although our hearts are over joyed to have our boy back, we just received terrible news. It looks like Romulus may have been hit by a car on his adventure away from home and needs emergency surgery to repair a diaphragmatic hernia. We are on our way to UC Davis as we speak to have a consult with a surgeon who has quoted roughly 3-5k for the initial visit and stabilization with another 10-15k for the actually surgery itself. Thankfully Romulus does have insurance, however, they will not cover the entire cost so we are asking for a little bit of help from whoever is willing and able to assist us with our baby boys veterinary bills.

Our family couldn’t be more thankful to everyone who helped bring Romi home and would be grateful for any financial help in saving his life

We also understand that not all may have the resources to contribute so sharing our post, prayers, or even sending positive vibes would also be greatly appreciated
