As many of you know, Rommel’s wife Maris has been battling leukemia for over a decade. In recent months, her condition has deteriorated abruptly and rapidly.

 

Over the past month, Maris has undergone multiple radiation therapies. She now requires around-the-clock care from Rommel and his teenage daughter due to loss of vision and consciousness, and what seems like daily visit to the ER. The future is uncertain.

 

With this fund, Rommel will be able to spend more time with Maris, possibly investigate alternative treatment providers. His daughter will be able to return to school and continue to look forward to graduating high school next year.
